When we succeed friendships are created and great memories and valuable life lesson are  imparted on both the young, and the young at heart.

When We Succeed
Who We Are
We aim to enhance the quality of life for the elderly and help to connect generations through technology.  We believe that today’s youth can be at the forefront of social change through sustainable programs built on solid intergenerational partnerships.

Bridging Generations Through Technology

Techeration is a  501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on utilizing technology to improve the everyday lives of both young and old alike.

What We Do

Techeration

Techeration began in March of 2008 as a means of helping aging adults to become more comfortable with current technology.  According to a June 2009 report from the US Census Bureau, the estimated change in the total size of the world’s older population, (Older being 65 year of age and older),  between July 2007 and July 2008 was more than 10.4 million people, an average of 870,000 each month.  Just as the number of aging adults continues to grow, so does the technology involved in our daily lives.  From automated pay booths at parking areas, to email on computers, to text-messaging on cell phones, technology is always all around us.  If we can help aging adults become more comfortable with technology they will be able to better communicate with friends and family and become more involved in our society that is becoming increasingly dependant on technology.
